CoBI Grant Application

The Council on Brain Injury will accept applications for grants of up to $5000.

Organizations (not individuals) whose work reflects CoBI’s mission of increasing awareness of brain injury, 

improving lives affected by brain injury, and preventing brain injury will be considered. 

Projects that have been funded to date include:

  • Scholarships through brain injury organizations for families and individuals with brain injuries to attend educational conferences
     

  • Funding for adapted sports like skiing, golf, horseback riding, and bowling
     

  • “Camperships” for children with brain injury to attend summer camp
     

  • Financial support for student research on brain injury
     

  • Sponsorship of safety events including bike rides, helmet giveaways, and prevention talks to children
     

  • Sponsorship of art classes for individuals with brain injuries and their caregivers
     

  • Support for brain injury support groups

Applications for 2022 grants to organizations will be accepted between December 6, 2021, and January 31, 2022.

Awards will be made by April 15, 2022.

CoBI Offers Support for Support Groups

 

Brain Injury Support Groups in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware are eligible for some financial assistance from the Council on Brain Injury. Awards will be made in the form of cash/gift cards.

Simply let us know who your group is and what you need. Leave the rest up to us!
